This October, we’re excited to open a one-stop shop for all your fitness and combat sports needs! We’ve assembled a team of elite coaches and fitness experts, including a metabolic scientist/researcher, world champions, an All-American wrestler, a Hall of Fame coach, a Jiu-Jitsu black belt, a judo black belt, a Muay Thai Kru, and an elite boxing coach. CTC Is Moving To An Amazing New Location!!!

CTC is working hard to get our AMAZING new location up and running. Our new location is in the heart of historic Downtown Savannah and is part of an awesome new fitness complex that will have Bungee Fitness, Aerial Yoga, Yoga, spin classes, a juice bar and more. CTC will have a beautiful, 2 story unit in this complex that will bring the Low Country the same elite combat sports and fitness training we have for over 20 years.

For the time being, we are training at our affiliate gym, Pitbull MMA, in Allenhurst. Muay Thai is Monday and Wednesday at 6pm, Boxing Tuesday/Thursday at 6. Grappling is every day at 7.

Our planned date for our grand opening at our new location is August 1st. We are excited for our students, athletes and clients and very excited for our friends and partners at Soar Bungee Fitness who are helping us bring this AMAZING facility to life!!!

We will be rolling out some new early bird specials in the coming weeks so check back here often for updates and some amazing deals.

Brandon “Bam Bam” Moran Remains Undefeated!!!

Champions Training Centers Brandon “Bam Bam” Moran excited the crowd at Fury FC 84 with a spectacular first round submission win. This event aired live on UFC Fight Pass to millions of viewers around the world.

Brandon dominated the fight from start to finish with aggressive striking strong takedowns and dominant grappling. His opponent, who had never been finished , tapped to a Kimura after Brandon popped his shoulder.

Brandon is now 4-0 as a pro and 8-0 as an amateur. This win gets him one step closer to signing to a major organization like UFC or PFL.

Coach Muhsin Returns From Guest Trainer Spot At Fairtex Training Camp

Coach Muhsin Corbbrey returns from Thailand today after spending the last month working with Fairtex Training Center‘s MMA fight team.  Coach Muhsin taught Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the MMA Competition Team classes, working with MMA and Muay Thai Champions in preparation for their upcoming fights OneFC and Abu Dhabi Warriors.

Fairtex MMA groupCoach Muhsin was joined by BJJ Superstar DJ Jackson as they worked with some of the top athletes in South East Asia.  These athletes include 2 division OneFC Muay Thai Champion and undefeated MMA fighter Stamp Fairtex, hard hitting OneFC superstar Mark Abelardo, undefeated OneFC contender Denice Zamboanga, and Abu Dhabi Warriors top contenders James Bishop and Priya Sharma.  All of these athletes have extremely bright futures ahead of them!

Muhsin also coached BJJ athletes of all levels while in Thailand.

Muhsin Corbbrey is a pro MMA, Boxing & Muay Thai competitor with 55 professional fights.  He is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Lloyd Irvin, a Judo and Japanese Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and a certified instructor(Kru) in Muay Thai under Muay Thai Legend Manu Ntoh. Muhsin has competed at the highest level of combat sports with fights in WEC, Glory Kickboxing, Elite XC, Titan FC, Kunlun Fights, Martial Combat and more.

Champions Training Center’s Anthony Harris is the most decorated grappler in the Low Country!!

Champions Training Center BJJ Black Belt, Anthony Harris, made his Black Belt competition debut at the IBJJF Masters World Championships in Las Vegas Nevada. Anthony ran through the competition en rout to securing his place in the finals of the 2019 IBJJF Masters World Championships. After a hard fought contest in the finals against a tough Brazilian, the match ended with an even score. Unfortunately, his opponent was awarded the referee decision and Anthony is now a 2019 IBJJF Masters Worlds Silver Medalist!

Anthony has his sites set on IBJJF Gold in 2020 and will be competing in all major IBJJF events as well as pro grappling events like Fight 2 Win.

Anthony’s current list of accomplishments:

  • 2019 IBJJF World Championships- Silver Medal – Black Belt
  • 2019 – IBJJF Pan Ams – Gold Medal – Brown Belt
  • 2018 IBJJF World Championships – Gold Medal – Brown Belt
  • 2017 IBJJF World Championships- Gold Medal – Purple Belt
  • IBJJF Atlanta Open – Multiple Time Gold Medalist
  • NAGA and other local tournaments – Multiple Gold Medals
