Champions Training Center’s Josh Blyden will be stepping up to the big leagues on March 3rd as he headlines a Bellator event at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Josh is by far one of the hardest workers in the gym and he is proof that hard work pays off.

When Josh walked into the doors of Champions Training Center he weighed close to 250 pounds and was simply looking for a fun way to get in shape. Josh signed up for Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai and started his martial arts journey.

Josh before and after

As Josh’s weight came down, his skills increased and he soon started participating in Jiu Jitsu tournaments and prepared to make his amateur MMA debut. Josh had an amazing amateur career winning titles and being voted fighter of the year in 2013. In 2014 Josh burst onto the Pro MMA scene with a 1st round TKO finish over a much more experienced opponent. After winning his first pro title, Josh is currently the #2 ranked featherweight fighter in the state of Georgia.

On March 3rd Josh plans to show that he is one of the most talented fighters in the country with a big win in one of the biggest MMA organizations in the world.

Watch Wes Barnes Win The NFC Lightweight Title In 21 Seconds

Wes has been out nursing an injury but we expect him to make a return to action in 2018.  Undefeated since his drop to 155 lbs, Wes is an absolute terror to any opponent that he faces.  We firmly believe that Wes is 1 or 2 fights away from a major contract and we look forward to more exciting fights this year as he works towards that goal.  Until then, check out Wes’s last fight against previously unbeaten Brandon Longano.  Brandon is a monster and continues to make waves in the MMA.  This fight is an example of how explosive and powerful Wes is. Check it out:
