After a dominant performance this past weekend at the 2018 Georgia Golden Gloves boxing tournament in Macon, GA, William Wheeler was crowned the 2018 Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion!
In Will’s first bout, he dominated early getting a 2nd round TKO stoppage. This bout earned him a spot in the finals. In his finals bout William started fast with hard combinations and a relentless pace. In the 2nd round he stumbled his opponent with a hard right hand and continued the onslaught. In the 3rd it was more of the same and after the final bell William earned an Unanimous Decision victory over a tough, durable opponent.
